Modern Art

OM Workspace diligently worked towards setting up a comprehensive collection of modern art prints that include some of the paintings that marked the beginning of the movement. There are works of art authored by Van Gogh, Paul Cezanne, Geirges Seurat and Paul Gauguin to name but a few. Any collection of modern art paintings that takes itself seriously will include at least one artwork belonging to Henri de Toulouse Lautrec. He influenced many painters of his generation and was the catalyst that pushed the movement into overdrive.

Modern art prints had their roots in the 19th century but the movement gained strength in the next decades and flourished after the World War 2. This is when the US took the lead and in the 50s, some great modern art paintings were created, many of them available now on the website. These serve as a starting point for the postmodern works, which took a bolder stance and are more suitable for interiors decorated in a minimalist style.
