Teri Jonas is a Texas based artist who has been painting professionally for over three decades. She believes that art is a reflection of her inner self and her journey through life. She has produced many pieces of artwork and believes that her clients are able to find original paintings or prints that resonate with their taste. All her works reflect that belief. They are a part of both national and international collections and are usually in great demand due to their simple shapes, bright colors and show a joyous and playful side, while a calm and deep serene feeling is also present. Teri has developed a loyal following of collectors across the nation with regular gallery exhibitions of her artwork in Boulder, Colorado, Austin, Texas, Taos, and New Mexico, and with many years of exhibiting at premier Indiana art fairs.
Teri has been featured in American Artist, Southwest Art, and on the cover of Vitality magazine. More recently, she has teamed with Grand Image to produce limited edition posters and prints from her original pastels. Grand Image is a company based in Seattle, Washington. Teri began painting with watercolors then gradually shifted to pastel. During her transition period, she often used a watercolor under-painting with pastel on top. She has been working exclusively in pastel for the past 12 years, painting on very fine sandpaper which creates a soft yet vibrant look and holds the pastel well. Teri has paintings in many private and corporate collections in the US and around the world.
