Charlie Waite (Born on 1949) is a UK native who grew up in England. He worked in theaters and in television for ten years. During that period, he got inspired by all the landscapes and how the use of lights and colors can make a difference. As a result of that inspiration, he started making landscape photos. Over the years, he mastered his art to the extent that he now ranks among the most celebrated landscape photographers.
Waite has been lecturing for the past twenty-five years throughout the UK. He has held many successful exhibitions in London, which include two shows in London’s National Theatre, three at the OXO gallery. Waite also displayed his art in solo shows in Tokyo, New York, Carmel and in Australia, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. He has published about twenty-seven books of his photography in UK, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
He’s also an owner of a company called Light and Land based in Europe. Through the company, Waite along with his specialist photography team, provide tours, courses, and classes across the globe. The main aim of the program is to improve photography.
Waite’s subjects are mainly drawn from nature and buildings and are so immersive that they provide viewers with mental adventures that enable them dive into his displayed topographies. Having mastered the art and using high quality cameras, his works deliver even the tiniest of details.
